Unveiling Samsung Galaxy S25: Enhanced Capabilities with the Updated Google Gemini

Samsung has rolled out the red carpet for the all-new Galaxy S25 series, enriched with a refreshed Google Gemini, at the Samsung Unpacked 2025 event.

Commencing as of today, users can experience an advanced Google Gemini that seamlessly merges into apps and facilities across the device. A user-friendly feature allows the AI to multitask – accomplish several functions across different applications on a single prompt.

Moreover, Samsung has upgraded the Gemini Extensions to enhance Samsung apps like Calendar, Clock, Notes, and Reminder.

An exciting feature added to the Gemini Live, Google’s voice service, provides real-time conversation support. To illustrate, users can rehearse an important pitch while receiving immediate vocal feedback. The facility to upload images, documents, and even YouTube clips turns Gemini Live into a multimodal and context-sensitive tool.

In the forthcoming months, Samsung plans to launch Project Astra, Google’s state-of-the-art, multimodal AI assistant allowing screen sharing and live streaming capabilities. Firstly gracing the Android Gemini app, these features will then make way into the Galaxy S25 series.

Launching in tandem with the Galaxy S25 series is a new side button catering easy access to Gemini. With just one click, users can set reminders, save notes, or request AI assistance regarding an approaching event.

The much-anticipated Samsung Galaxy S25 series is available for pre-order from Wednesday, with shipping starting on February 7.
