Stoke Space’s Dream of Constructing First Fully Reusable Rocket Boosted by Fresh $260M Funding

Stoke Space, the brainchild of Blue Origin veterans Andy Lapsa and Tom Feldman, has successfully raised $260 million in a series C funding round. The funds will drive the space startup towards its audacious aim—creating the first fully reusable rocket. This adds to Stoke’s financial coffers, which now accumulate to $480 million, factoring in the $100 million amassed in October 2023, and $75 million procured in December 2021.

The dream took a tangible shape last month as the company revealed a triumphant test of its first-stage rocket engine. The recently acquired financing will accelerate the development of their new facilities located in Florida’s renowned Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

Backing Stoke’s venture are a slew of investors including Breakthrough Energy Ventures, Glade Brook Capital Partners, Industrious Ventures, Point72 Ventures, Seven Seven Six, and Y Combinator.
