In an interview with Kind Humanoid last October, the budding startup excitedly shared their collaboration with acclaimed designer, Yves Behar for their premier commercial robot. Narrating its compelling origin from a Silicon Valley garage, Kind Humanoid, headed by its CEO and former Google robotics researcher Christoph Kohstall, has demonstrated its knack for novelty and innovation, even in their workspace set-up.
Beyond attracting Behar, famed for his designs like the Jawbone fitness tracker and the August Locks, Kind has also captivated robotics contemporaries, especially 1X. 1X is renowned for its generative AI-driven solutions and massive funding investments, which notably included a whopping $100 million secured last January.
Global firms like Tiger Global and OpenAI are among the investors.
