Boardy AI Nabs $8M in Seed Funding Following Pre-Seed Closure

Hot on the heels of a $3 million pre-seed round, AI-based networking platform, Boardy AI, has revealed an $8 million seed round led by Creandum. Boardy’s unique AI system connects users to relevant industry professionals after an AI agent briefly interacts with them.

Since its inception and pre-seed announcement in October, Boardy, under CEO Andrew D’Souza, boasts of over 10,000 calls made, more than 9,000 successful facilitations and numerous successful partnerships and investments initiated for startups.

Making the $8 million seed round noteworthy was that investors approached D’Souza independently to try out his product. “They engaged with Boardy prior to reaching out to me or anyone from the team,” reveals D’Souza.

Other contributors to this round include technology investors Andy Dunn, Leah Brusque, and Andrew Yeung.
