“Battlemarked: Resolution Games Reveals New VR Adaptation of Dungeons & Dragons”

Resolution Games, in partnership with Wizards of the Coast, takes a stride into the virtual reality realm with their forthcoming game titled” Battlemarked”, based on the iconic role-play game Dungeons & Dragons (D&D).

Using the Demeo system by Resolution games, Battlemarked aims to faithfully encapsulate the D&D experience with an emphasis on a virtual tabletop environment and turn-based combat. An intriguing twist is the absence of a Dungeon Master, steering players’ focus more towards strategic decisions.

The game, a first-time collaboration between Resolution Games and Wizards of the Coast, is set to launch on various platforms. Although the exact compatible devices remain unspecified, the availability of Demeo across platforms like Meta Quest, Pico, SteamVR, PC, and others, is suggestive of the likely platforms for Battlemarked.

Battlemarked comes packed with two story-driven campaigns, designed for groups of up to four players. Plans of introducing additional campaigns in distinct D&D settings, although mentioned, are yet to be outlined in detail.

With its official announcement, the makers also unveiled an enticing trailer demonstrating the classic art style traditional to Wizards of the Coast and giving a glimpse into the various classes and races in the game.

While information regarding its launch date, price, and in-depth campaign details is still under wraps, Battlemarked undeniably marks a momentous development in the world of Dungeons & Dragons.
