Apple’s Vision Pro headset is set to receive Apple Intelligence as part of an upcoming VisionOS 2.4 update, scheduled for release in April. This update will bring familiar features such as Rewrite, Proofread, and Summarize to the wearable device, aiming to streamline text-based tasks.
These features align with Apple’s vision of the Vision Pro as a “spatial computing” extension of desktop computing. With the addition of voice dictation and generative AI writing tools, users can expect a smoother text composition experience. Message Summaries and Smart Reply further enhance productivity by allowing interaction within various apps without interrupting the user’s current task.
Another notable feature introduced is Image Playground, which allows users to create images using verbal prompts through the VisionOS Photos app. This technology has been previously implemented on Apple’s other operating systems.
In addition to the VisionOS 2.4 update, Apple has launched a companion Vision Pro iPhone app as part of iOS 18.4. This app allows users to browse and transfer media content from the iPhone to the headset. It also facilitates guest account management, providing the headset owner with real-time access to the guest’s view.
