According to industry insider Mark Gurman, Apple is preparing to integrate Apple Intelligence into its Vision Pro headset with an update scheduled for April release. This move comes just weeks after Apple Intelligence was unveiled in June 2024.
Previously, there was speculation about how Apple’s AI capabilities would translate to a mixed reality experience within the Vision Pro. However, it is now reported that Apple Intelligence, comprising Writing Tools, Genmoji, and Image Playground, will be incorporated into VisionOS 2.4. A pre-release version may be available for developers shortly.
Initial Apple Intelligence integrations for the Vision Pro will reportedly not include an upgraded Siri. Gurman further indicates that a broader upgrade to Siri may also be delayed due to technical challenges and software bugs.
